Gentle, beautiful pink in colour with glints of fine ruby and a suggestion of grenadine. The nose has elements of strawberry together with suggestions of ripe fruits of the forest such as blackberries and cranberries. Mouthfilling, delicately but richly flavoured, and exceptionally long.

The grapes are hand harvested, pressed immediately and subjected to a brief maceration, which results in the wine's characteristic colour and avoids any unpleasant tannins that might be occasioned by a longer maceration.
